Integrity
We
are under the umbrella of Christian International, Bishop Bill Hamon's ministry. They have taught us well in the area of the
prophetic and on integrity. (Teachings
on the 10 M's is great and the Pitfalls of a Prophet). We are blessed to be under the ministry of
Christian International.
Looking
over the past years, I am believing for Replevin to continue into this year and
years to come, and it will be Great!
I
am encouraged in the Lord.
I
have been somewhat shocked at the lack of integrity amongst God's Leaders. Pastor Tom Terry has also been a good mentor
for us for the last 30 years. His teachings
on Leadership are great. Many ministers
spout off to Pastors how the sheep are not their sheep but God's sheep and
basically you don't have any rights to them.
I think about the scripture that tells me that we, Pastors, are
overseers and we will give an account either with joy or grief for the sheep He
has given us to look after. I believe
that when an ordained minister of the Gospel spouts this kind of thing out of
his or her mouth, it is coming from the heart and something is not right in
their heart(s).
Over
the 33 years of ministry, we have had our share of Judas' and Absaloms’,
etc. Sons and Daughters, ordained to be in our fold
have left.
Ministers
that show lack of integrity will get your people's emails and try to get them
on board with them, and snuggle up to them.
Their main reason is "My Ministry" and many are motivated by
$$$........ Those that come into the
house to minister need to 'snuggle' up with the Pastors or Overseers of that
house, not the sheep in that house.
A
man or woman of integrity will come in and operate under the overseer of the
house. They will have good manners; will
not correct the overseers of the house or sheep of that house. If there is something that is personally
bothering them, or they have a word of correction, they will take it to the overseer
of the house first. They will not gossip
to the other sheep, or other Pastors and Ministers in that area about the place
they are ministering. They will not
preach from their offense, hurts, and bitterness.
I
remember David saying how it hurt; the very person he sat with and ate with
turned on him. How King Solomon was
sorry he showed the Queen all his 'good stuff' in the house. I think this can be a lesson.
The
Word of God admonishes leaders and sheep to beware of those who will come in
and cause division, steal and lie. There
are wolves, and hirelings. Listen, there
are sheep stealers out there, and the reason is - It's all about 'My Ministry
and $$". The Word of God warns us.
When
we bring in ministers of the Gospel we expect integrity and good manners, and
have not always had this good experience.
When we see otherwise, we have to cut ourselves from that kind of
behavior and spirit.
I
know there are many ministers out there who have experienced many hurts, disillusionments
and disappointments. I just want to
encourage you for this New Year. I pray
for your healing from those hurts and disappointments, and for wisdom and
discernment. David was a great man of
God and he experienced it and we know Jesus did too.
God
is full of love, grace, and compassion, and included in that also is the
discipline(s) of the Lord. We love our
children, but we often have to discipline them, train them and correct
them. It's not all love and Grace.
Honor
will bring you much favor and blessings this year. Honor those who are over you in the
Lord. Honor and respect the house God
may allow you to minister in and God's Houses will be blessed.

Sandra, Word-A-Live! Church
